Avena Sativa Kernel Extract is obtained from the kernel of the Avena sativa annual herbaceous plant. It is composed of starch, polysaccharides (beta-glucans, arabinoxylans), peptides and protein substances, sterols, amines, mineral salts, and vitamins (B1, B2, B12). In particular, the presence of beta-glucan gives the extract moisturizing and film-forming properties. Avena Sativa Kernel Extract also possesses soothing and refreshing properties.
